How is UWNYS Involved?
United Way of New York State is proudly the Skills Span Lead for 2025 and 2026. As a SkillSPAN state coalition lead, UWNYS convenes a multi-stakeholder skills coalition in our state. Members include training providers, policy researchers, workforce advocates, community colleges, community based organizations, businesses, unions, state agencies and others.
Together, we advocate for a shared skills policy agenda in the state. UWNYS is proud to be part of NSC’s SkillSPAN coalitions and be the lead organization.
