Thank you to Senator Cooney for his leadership and advocacy efforts to ensure $7 Million in the State Budget for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Initiative. UWNYS had a blast celebrating Dolly and continues to advocate for the funding to be in the budget!

UWNYS Hosts 211 Advocates & Partners for “211 Day of Advocacy”

United Way of New York State hosted a number of advocates at the NYS Capitol on Monday, February 24th to discuss with the NYS Legislature the critical importance of 211. It was wonderful to meet with so many Legislators and hear the stories from our Call Specialists and Call Center Managers!
